General Data Protection Regulation:
- is the most important change in data privacy regulation in 20 years to EU Privacy & Data Protection and
- aims at fundamentally reshaping the way in which data is handled across every sector, by protecting all citizens from privacy and data breaches in today’s data-driven world.
It requires as for example only that, MyEnergyLink must inform (privacy policy) its Users and Members on the way how MyEnergyLink collects and uses personal data of such Users or Members, as well as give options to them for correcting, deleting or objecting to the use of their personal data, all in accordance with GDPR.

5 - What kind of personal data is collected through MyEnergyLink platform? (e.g.: upon registration, publishing offers, …)
- Applicant Information [Registration Process]
When you register on MyEnergyLink by submitting an application, it is collected:

- information about you (enter “your Contact details” as Main User or other registered User)
such as your name, first name, Position/job title, email address, phone number, and password
- information about you (enter “your Contact details” as Main User or other registered User)

- your business information, (enter “your Company details” “your Activity profile”)
such as your business name, date/ number/country of incorporation, capital share and number of owners, revenue size, employees count (including global / local citizens), if already member of Evolen, Website address, business description, i.e. categories of equipment and services that define your activity (activity profile) + additional free text to customize profile - your company bank details in order to process payments of fees (registration, etc) [NOT REQUIRED at this stage]
- your business information, (enter “your Company details” “your Activity profile”)

If MyEnergyLink deems it appropriate in your interest and with you prior consent to on case by case basis, your Personal data may be shared with other support organizations within MyEnergyLink global network

When you search a partner via MyEnergyLink by submitting an application, it is collected processed data:

- information about you: same as for “Registration process”

- your business information
such as your business name, business location (country), categories / segment of equipment and services that define your activity (activity profile) – Main products offered
- your business information

- More detailed description of your industrial project (free text) categories / segment of equipment and services that you search (activity profile), related products, country (?)

When you want to register to attend seminar offered through “Business Learning Center” portal, it is collected:

- UNREGISTER (for Members only)
If you do not want to benefit anymore from the Services offered to Members
(such as your data and information being processed by MyEnergyLink’s search engine and as the case may be, your data and information being transmitted to other Members, receiving request for connections…),
then you must click on “UNREGISTER” and you will be automatically re-directed to Unregistration page and at this time you will have to tick the relevant Box.
Your personal data & information will be erased and archived in accordance with the Personal Data and Cookies Charter
- Dedicated access for Members
If you want to login in order to have access to your own account as a Member, then you must click on “MEMBER ACCESS” and you will be automatically re-directed to the dedicated access portal for Members.
It is collected processed data:
- your email address
- your password
- Contact template form (to contact Data Controller)
If you want to send a request to Data controller in order to correct, delete, object to the use of personal data such as emails, phone numbers, addresses, and any other personal information from MyEnergyLink Platform, then you must click on “CONTACT” and you will be automatically re-directed to MyEnergyLink CONTACT form.
It is collected:
- the content of your request
- Other data (Automatically collected by MyEnergyLink Website/ Platform)
Information that MyEnergyLink collect automatically, as soon as you visit the website or the platform is, as for example only: -
- cookies, web beacons and other similar technologies to collect information about you.
Information that MyEnergyLink collect automatically, regarding your use of the website or platform via these technologies is, as for example only:

- web pages you view, links you click
- your IP address
- your interaction with the website or platform; length of time you are logged in

MyEnergyLink uses the Personal data collected online about you for the following types of purposes:

to connect you with other Members (only) within the framework and through the Platform

to respond to your requests or inquiries, to communicate with you about your applications and for similar customer-service-related purposes such as access to dedicated area for Members, Contact template form

to make appropriate assessment of your application details (published offers vs activity profile) by the Platform search engine to look for potential matching between published offers and activity profiles for Members to connect together (sending you a request for connection via MyEnergyLink)

to allow you to join [ Business learning center ] [WHEN APPLICABLE–under construction]

to process payments of fees (registration, etc) [ NOT REQUIRED at this stage ]

to improve the website, platform and services offered by MyEnergyLink, or to better understand how users and Members access and use of the website, platform and services offered by MyEnergyLink on an aggregated and individualized basis.
IMPORTANT
Notwithstanding anything to the contrary elsewhere provided for, MyEnergyLink also may use aggregate or non-personally identifying information about users for market analysis, research, marketing or other purposes.

8 - To whom is my personal data disclosed?
MyEnergyLink may disclose Personal data collected online to third parties for the following types of purposes:

to our contractors or service providers (such as web developers who help us to administer the website, platform or process payments especially upon registration) who provide services or perform functions on behalf of MyEnergyLink

If you have created any profile (“Company or Contact details”, “Activity profile”) user or activity profile, you still have the same visibility and control as you previously had when registering for the first time on MyEnergyLink.
By editing your own profiles as referred to above, you can control what it is seen by other Members of MyEnergyLink Community at your sole discretion.
